There are a countless number of people who have been an important part of my journey, either directly or indirectly. Without them, my life would have been dramatically different.
To the brave men and women who serve and have served in the Armed Forces of the United States of America—thank you. Thank you for your bravery and valor. It is because of you, your courage and dedication to freedom, that people like myself who have immigrated to this country have an opportunity to share in the American dream.
To the brave soldiers that did not make it home, or were wounded in battle —I salute you, and thank you for your sacrifice. There are no words to express my gratitude. Your effort(s) will not be taken for granted. Your steadfastness to protect our freedom and way of life is to be commended. Your hard work and dedication have provided, and continues to provide, a wide range of opportunities for the dreamers, the initiators, the ones that still believe it is possible to become successful in America, like myself.
To Maria Elena Sanchez for unconditionally believing in me; for your patience, love, support, encouragement and prayers through all the years we were together.
To the loves of my life, Marissa and Liana Sanchez, my two beautiful daughters. You have been a great inspiration for me to continue to thrive no matter what, even when everything turned dark in our lives. You were the shining lights that guided my path back to my faith and to my roots of serving a God that is greater than anything and everything. It is my hope and desire that you will learn to push through obstacles, turning them into opportunities. May the warrior spirit be upon you as you conquer your own “American Dream”.

To my pastor for 15 years, Emil Cedeno and his lovely wife Cecilia. Thank you for your patience, you’re encouraging words, and for always having faith in me. Your prayers and petitions to God have been greatly appreciated. Thank you for believing in me even when I didn’t believe in myself.
To the man who is my father figure and mentor in business Tommy Amalfitano, you have no idea the impact you have made in my life. It has been a great honor and privilege to work for you all these years. Twenty-four years of learning from your wisdom and experience has helped me to become the man I am today. Starting when I was collecting cans at your restaurant, to all those wonderful opportunities that you gave me to grow and mature in your company, and as a man. I will always be extremely grateful for your guidance and patience with me even though I know you wanted to kill me at times.  You never stopped believing in me and saw my potential by always putting the right tools in my hands to continue to grow. May God bless you and your family.
