Miguel Sanchez was born and raised in Mexico City. He migrated to the United States at the age of 16. Due to his age and language barrier he couldn’t find employment anywhere. He began collecting cans in a tourist area of San Pedro, California.
After being kicked out of the restaurant area (many times), his persistence paid off, and he was offered a position as a dishwasher and janitor. To Miguel, it was the opportunity he had been looking for. Because of his hard work, good ethics, and dedication, he became the restaurant manager at the age of eighteen. One year later he was promoted to General Manager.
After twelve years of running a business for someone else, Miguel decided to start his own business. And for the last twelve years he has been able to establish and run two very successful corporations. Miguel’s close contact with many of his employees has opened his eyes to the lack of aspirations and a need for change in his community. This has inspired him to go into this new area of his life.
With over twenty years of experience in business administration and managing people, Miguel’s vast knowledge and determination to overcome are his greatest assets to take anyone to the next level in their career, business…and life!
